The Rocky Mountains of Alberta are part of a massive mountain range that stretches from Canada to New Mexico. The Alberta Rockies are more jagged than the American Rockies because they were more heavily glaciated. It is a vast and wonderful landscape and you will have every adventure that you are looking for here at your camp porch. Black Sheep Camp Rocky Mountain House rests along the mighty North Saskatchewan River and the town of Rocky Mountain House, which is only ten minutes away with all the amenities and attractions visitors enjoy. The Camp is close to golf, horseback riding, and historical sites that are interesting to explore. With boundless recreation in the area from waterfalls to breathtaking hikes and terrain for all levels of hikers, bikers on and off road, cyclists, and water sport in the river or on the many lakes in the area – adventure is here.
